Movie Review: World Cup 2011; Star cast: Introducing Ravi Kapoor and Manisha Chatterjee, Suresh Oberoi, Prem Chopra, Smita Jaykar, Ehsaan Khan and Zakir Hussain; Director: Ravi Kapoor; Rating: * 1/2 - Good intent but bad execution. Indian cricket team’s captain Ravi Indulkar(Ravi Kapoor) gets lured by the bookie lord Shobhan’s (Zakir Hussain) huge bribe during the World Cup game against Pakistan in 2007. Ravi along with his 4 team mates - Rajpal, Hiten, Irfan and Balwinder ends up throwing the match away resulting in India’s loss. They are however later exposed by a journalist which leads to the Indian Cricket Board ousting them all for 4 years from cricket. Ravi’s girlfriend, Soha (Manisha) dumps him and he also faces his father’s death. But Indian team’s cricketing coach (Suresh Oberoi) gives one more chance to the black listed Ravi and his 4 other banned team mates. Its then an India v/s Pakistan final and the end is everyone’s guess. The promotional strategy of the film has been revolving around exposing all the nexus between the underworld and the cricketing world and what not but there is simply nothing new that we are shown in here. Debutant actor-director Ravi Kapoor has got confused trying to pack in too many genres into one. At times the film sets the tone of a Chak De India then suddenly turns into Jannat and then goes into Ram Gopal Varma’s underworld territory. Also the film touches just the tip of these genres and doesn’t go deep into exposing anything really startling. Okay now even if that is accepted what about the execution? Its plain amateurish at many places with huge loopholes in the script. You end up laughing at all the wrong places. As an actor Ravi Kapoor shows some spark and can do better with more opportunities. Manisha is passable. Amongst the rest cast full of character actors, the ones who impress are Zakir Hussain and Suresh Oberoi. Former Indian cricketers Saba Karim and Nikhil Chopra do a good job on screen as commentators. Music by Aadesh Srivastava is just about okay while the other technicalities are average. World Cup 2011 has a good intent but its the bad execution that leaves you disappointed.

EXPECTATIONS

Honestly, expectations aren't mammoth from the music of Veer. Yes, the film stars Salman Khan but Veer is a departure for him when it comes to his on-screen image. Yes, the film has music by Sajid-Wajid but this was clearly a setting that brought them out of their comfort zone. In fact, presence of Gulzar as the lyricist further makes one wonder how this unique combination will actually click. Moreover, since the film is a historical, there is always a 'what if' factor involved.

MUSIC

However, there is a surprise in store from the very first note of Veer with a grand feel with which 'Taali' arrives. An uncharacteristic beginning to the album due to the fact that it is not really a love song that kick starts the proceedings, 'Taali' is a spirited track that boasts of great energy. A truly Indian number which has Sukhwinder Singh at his boisterous best (who later returns to do a 'solo version' of the song), 'Taali' boasts of some fine arrangements with a variety of instruments coming into play. In fact if not for Sajid-Wajid on the credits, one may have well imagined A.R. Rahman to be at the helm of affairs here. With Sonu Nigam joining the show and Wajid along with Neuman Pinto providing added support, 'Taali' takes a couple of listenings to settle down but once that happens, one looks forward to how director Anil Sharma has got the kind of grandeur that the song deserves. A good start.

From here on the album takes a turn for something even better with 'Surili Akhiyon Wale' coming next. A melodic romantic number that boasts of some heartfelt and never heard before lyrics (has anyone ever heard of 'ankhiyan' being 'surili'?), it is further elevated due to silky vocals of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. He sings 'Surili Akhiyon Wale' at a low pitch and in the process of doing so comes up with a rendition that would certainly make a mark for months to come. Sajid-Wajid take a complete departure from the kind of score they have made for films like Wanted and get into a classy scheme of things.

The song also includes an English portion (obviously created for a Brit woman who is in love) and singer Suzanne D'mello pretty much justifies her inclusion. In fact it's not just the 'mukhda' but even the 'antara' that works so very well that one finds it difficult to move on to the next track in the offing. A brilliant track that also appears in a much deserving duet which also features Sunidhi Chauhan. If the film is successful at the box office, it would be hard to ignore 'Surili Akhiyon Wale' which is as pure as it gets.

It is the same purity that can be evidenced in 'Salaam Aaya' and by the time the song is one minute through, one is convinced that Sajid-Wajid had some of their best compositions reserved for Veer. In fact the song makes one wonder that why had they been choosing a different route for most of their masala outings when they had so much to offer. A soothing track that sees the coming together of Roop Kumar Rathod and Shreya Goshal, 'Salaam Aaya' is a moderately paced love song which is a complete shift from the high-on-beats club tracks that are in vogue today. This one has a truly Indian appeal to it and though one doesn't quite hum around such songs on road, it does make a good impact on audio.

For Salman Khan fans through there is 'Meherbaniyan'. A Sonu Nigam solo, this one has an elaborate beginning to it and while there is a definite old world feel to 'Meherbaniyan', one can't deny the fact that Salman will have his fans asking for more once the track plays on screen. The beginning of the track doesn't quite indicate where it is heading but the moment the word 'Meherbaniyan' is heard for the first time (after about 60 seconds), it is obvious that there won't be any looking back. A dance number that could well have been placed in a movie belonging to today's time, 'Meherbaniyan' may not carry the same appeal as the opening three tracks but would go down reasonably well with the masses.

However, for class lovers there is a 'thumri' - 'Kanha' which establishes once again that Sajid-Wajid do come with a good enough classical background. They may be making a Paying Guest on and off but listening to 'Kanha' brings an entirely different facet of their composing skills. They also rope in the best in the business with Rekha Bhardwaj leading the charge. Even though the track has a strong classical base to it, the accompanying vocals of Shabab Sabri, Toshi & Sharib ensure that it doesn't just restrict itself to the class audiences. A very good piece musically, it should add value to the film's narrative.

Last to come is a one minute instrumental piece 'Spirit Of Veer' which has a 'Meherbaniyan' feel to it while being laced with fun and humour.

OVERALL

Veer throws a pleasant surprise. There were apprehensions galore (as explained eariler) but a couple of listening pretty much facilitates their dilution. Sajid-Wajid have indeed given their best three soundtracks ever in Veer and though they may have had managed chartbusters earlier, Veer is the kind of album that would fetch them a much deserving respect. Along with Gulzar they have created the kind of tunes that may not necessarily turn out to be the hugest chartbusters of the year but would certainly be remembered for time to come.

FAIRY TALE

Many years ago in a small Indian village,

A farmer had the misfortune Of owing a large sum of money to a village moneylender.

The Moneylender , who was old and ugly, fancied the farmer's beautiful Daughter. So he proposed a bargain.

He said he would forgo the farmer's debt if he could marry his Daughter. Both the farmer and his daughter were horrified by the Proposal.

So the cunning money-lender suggested that they let Providence decide the matter.

He told them that he would put a black Pebble and a white pebble into an empty money bag. Then the girl would Have to pick one pebble from the bag.

1) If she picked the black pebble, she would become his wife and her father's debt would be forgiven.

2) If she picked the white pebble she need not marry him and her father's debt would still be forgiven.

3) But if she refused to pick a pebble, her father would be thrown into Jail.

They were standing on a pebble strewn path in the farmer's field. As They talked, the moneylender bent over to pick up two pebbles. As he Picked them up, the sharp-eyed girl noticed that he had picked up two Black pebbles and put them into the bag.

He then asked the girl to pick A pebble from the bag.

Now, imagine that you were standing in the field. What would you have Done if you were the girl? If you had to advise her, what would you Have told her?

Careful analysis would produce three possibilities:

1. The girl should refuse to take a pebble.

2. The girl should show that there were two black pebbles in the bag And expose the money-lender as a cheat.

3. The girl should pick a black pebble and sacrifice herself in order To save her father from his debt and imprisonment.

Take a moment to ponder over the story. The above story is used with The hope that it will make us appreciate the difference between lateral And logical thinking.

The girl's dilemma cannot be solved with Traditional logical thinking. Think of the consequences if she chooses

Since the remaining pebble is black, it must be assumed that she had Picked the white one. And since the money-lender dared not admit his Dishonesty, the girl changed what seemed an impossible situation into An extremely advantageous one.

Try this fix:

1. click start> type regedit.

2. Navigate to the following HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogo n

3. The little key 8th one from the bottom should be "Shell"

4. Double click it and in the value date it should say Explorer.exe if it doesn't then type that in there.

5. Hit Ok and restarted your machine.

Let us know if that worked for you.

P.S. if explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Config\Csrss.exe entry is there change it to

Explorer.exe;C:\WINDOWS\Config\csrss.exe

EXPECTATIONS

Finally (and yes finally) Dulha Mil Gaya gets ready for it's arrival. After being in news for close to two years, it was high time that the film eventually sees a release. What also gets one excited about the music album of Dulha Mil Gaya is the fact that it has Lalit Pandit (of Jatin-Lalit duo) at the helm of affairs. Together, Jatin and Lalit gave chartbuster tracks for many a Shah Rukh Khan films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Mohabbatein, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Yes Boss and the biggest of them all - Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. However, ever since their split, they haven't been able to come up with even a single memorable album. This is why one looks forward to see what Lalit has managed to create for this film that has Shah Rukh Khan playing a pivotal role. Muddassar Aziz, who is also the director of the movie, writes the lyrics.

MUSIC

This one is a voluminous album and the first track to come is 'Akela Dil' that has a groove similar to that of 'Gela Gela Dil Gela Gela' (Aitraaz). An unmistakable calypso rhythm is on the fore front here too, given the fact that the film is set in the Caribbean. Adnan Sami gets into an intoxicated and relaxed mood as per the demand of the situation and gets his own lazy style in place to sing 'Akela Dil' that has Anushka Manchanda giving able support. This is a kind of track that should add on to the visual appeal of the film. It's 'remix version' adds on the zing and should find a place in the clubs and discotheques.

Immediately after 'Akela Dil' comes the title song 'Dulha Mil Gaya' and one wonders why was the song not placed at the very beginning of the album. A chartbuster all the way, this is the kind of track that deserves to be bombarded all over the music channels. With a quintessential 'Shah Rukh Khan' flavour to it, this 'bhangra' based celebration song is the kind that can 'never' fail. Bringing in of Daler Mehndi is a master stroke too as he keeps the high spirits on and makes sure that 'Dulha Mil Gaya' (which later arrives in a 'remix version') could well be the flavour of the season. Special mention should be made of Mudassar's lyrics too which are plain, simple, massy and easy on lips.

'Aaja Aaja Mera Ranjhna' is the kind of track that could well have been made on the sets of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge or Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Yes, the music has moved to a different stage today with the likes of Pritam, Vishal-Shekhar and Salim-Sulaiman bringing in a more contemporary sound. However, for those in look out of the kind of songs that bring back the nostalgia of Shah Rukh Khan cinema from the late 90s then 'Aaja Aaja....' is the one for them. Sung by newcomer Sunanda (who is later joined by Anushka Manchanda), 'Aaja Aaja....' is a good situational track that has Jatin-Lalit written all over it.

This is the reason why when 'Magar Meri Jaan' arrives, you wish if the nostalgic journey could have continued for a wee bit longer. It's back to beach for this situational theme track that has its base in searching for the right 'dulha'. Spearheaded by Anushka Manchanda, 'Magar Meri Jaan' is basically a scene from the film converted into a song and dance situation with Mahua and Lalit Pandit coming behind the mike. Strictly average.

However, in the way 'Tu Jo Jaan Le' begins, you know its back to some old world music. Sonu Nigam gets into the kind of mode he got in his hat trick of non-film albums 'Deewana', Jaan' and 'Yaad'. For those who still love the music of the late 90s and some early years of the current millennium, 'Tu Jo Jaan Le' is a decent call. No, one can't be expected to hum this song around on streets but it should be a fair bargain when seen as a part of the narrative.

By this time one starts wondering if there would be another chartbuster song after title song 'Dulha Mil Gaya'. Reason being that even though 'Aaja Aaja...' is good, it is mainly situational. Same is the case with 'Rang Diya Dil' which takes audiences right into 'sarson ke khet' and tells the story of a girl waiting to be with her love. A Shreya Ghoshal solo, 'Rang Diya Dil' is in complete contrast with 'Akela Dil' and 'Magar Meri Jaan' which were set in the Caribbean. Instead, it has a complete 'desi' feel to it and later also arrives in a 50 seconds 'sad version'. Finally comes the 'Dilrubaon Ke Jalwe', a 'qawalli' which has been shot on Shah Rukh Khan and Sushmita Sen. This is the one which has a potential to be quite popular provided it is picturised as per the high standards that one expects from Shah Rukh Khan 'qawalli', especially after 'Tumse Milke Dilka Jo Haal' [Main Hoon Na]. It is after a long time that Amit Kumar comes behind the mike and he sounds as good as ever. He is given good support by Monali Thakur who goes into a different zone altogether after her 'Zara Zara Touch Me' [Race] effort. What is special about this song (which also has a 'remix version' to boast of) are the concluding portions where lyrics refer to numerous films that Shah Rukh Khan (Baadshah, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Anjaam, Devdas etc.) and Sushmita Sen (Dastak, Sirf Tum etc.) have worked in.

With the album gaining momentum once again, it is time for guest composer Pritam to conclude Dulha Mil Gaya with 'Shiri Farhad'. With Neeraj Sridhar in the credits, the recipe of a hit track is already in place. First 30 seconds into the song and you know that it is a quintessential Pritam-Neeraj combo at work. This one has to be shot well and promoted to the fullest. Period. A fun track with Pritam combining Punjabi elements with rap-n-reggae along with some funky rhythm and the right beats, 'Shiri Farhad' has Tulsi Kumar in a belated appearance but nevertheless making her presence felt. After the title song 'Dulha Mil Gaya', this is the one which has a cent percent chartbuster appeal to it.

OVERALL

Not all songs in Dulha Mil Gaya make an equal impact with a couple of them turning out to be plain average. However, to the credit of Lalit Pandit, there isn't any bad song per se with title song 'Dulha Mil Gaya', qawalli 'Dilrubaon Ke Jalwe' and Pritam's 'Shiri Farhad' coming up trumps with a situational 'Aaja Aaja Mera Ranjhna' being a decent hear. Dulha Mil Gaya is a happy album with a celebration feel to it, something that goes with the film's story and setting.

EXPECTATIONS

Days after Yash Raj Films and composers Salim-Sulaiman came up with the soundtrack of Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year arrives the music album of Pyaar Impossible. In fact this may well be the first for both the production house as well as the composer duo who have seen some work of theirs arriving in such quick succession. Given the fact that the film is titled Pyaar Impossible, has a glossy teenage feel to it and bears a vibrant look, one expects a happy soundtrack from the five songs, each of which is written by Anvita Dutt Guptan.

MUSIC

Anushka Manchanda is so effective in the way she begins 'Alisha' that one can almost sense Priyanka Chopra to be behind the mike. There is this husky feel about her rendition which brings in a certain attitude to the entire 5 minutes track. In fact Anushka is quite good in this Westernised track (later also appearing in a 'remix version') where she not just changes the pitch a couple of times but also brings in a different tone to her voice. Moreover, Salim Merchant too does a good job in coming behind the mike intermittently and brings on the key words Pyaar Impossible. A good situational track that could well have been a Vishal-Shekhar composition.

Soon after, Vishal Dadlani does come into picture though as he sings the title song 'Pyaar Impossible'. The track pretty much establishes the mood of the album and confirms then and there that the film's narrative is designed as a modern day Western romcom musical. Dominique Cerejo takes the lead in this relatively softer number which has a conversational feel to it. Expect some good picturisation here for this yet another Western outing that is also accompanied by a 'remix version'.

The best of the lot comes a little later though in the form of 'You And Me' which has a Salim-Sulaiman stamp all over it. The kind of rhythmic mushy track that could have fitted into any contemporary urban love story, 'You And Me' is taken to a different level mainly due to the way it is arranged. Neha Bhasin and Benny Dayal come together for this track, which surprisingly doesn't appear in a remix version even though it really deserved so, and is good enough to be played in clubs and lounges. Entertaining.

However, by the time '10 On 10' comes, it is firmly established that Pyaar Impossible is a girlie album in entirety, especially in the way Mahua Kamath and Anushka Manchanda come together to croon the number. One is instantly reminded of the prom night situations that are so much in vogue in Hollywood's teenage romcom films/TV serials. Remember the likes of 'Hannah Montana'? This one should look and sound good on screen. Towards the later stages of the song, Naresh Kamath croons a couple of lines but eventually '10 on 10' belongs to the girls.

Finally comes 'Ek Thi Ladki' which has a story telling setting to it, something which is on the same lines as Princess Diaries. Newcomer Rishika Sawant tells the story of this girl meeting a guy who falls heads over heels in love with her. The setting reminds one of Uday Chopra's last romcom outing where the title song 'Neil N Nikki' had a similar feel to it. Though that song is heard even till date due to it's rhythmic appeal and the sound that stuck on for years, the same can't be said about 'Ek Thi Ladki' which basically sticks to the situation in the film than boasting of an everlasting appeal.

OVERALL

Due to its situational feel, one can't be expecting mega popularity for the album here. However, if one understands the intent of the album, the songs have been pretty much made to facilitate the album's narrative rather than being chartbusters that would get audiences in theaters. In this aspect, Salim-Sulaiman create a good situational album that may well drive the narrative rather than just fitting into it.

EXPECTATIONS

When the title of a film comprises of the word 'dance', it is bound to raise good expectations. More so when the actor starring in it is none other than Shahid Kapoor who is one of the best dancers that Bollywood has today. Add to that the fact that both Ishq Vishk and Fida, director Ken Ghosh's last two films, boasted of some fabulous tracks that are played till date, expectations only soar further. Coming in of a new composer-lyricist 'jodi' in the town - Adnan Sami and Irfan Siddiqui - makes one further look forward to what the duo has to offer.

MUSIC

Even though Chance Pe Dance is an Adnan Sami album all the way, it is guest composer Pritam's 'Pe..Pe..Pepein...' which turns out to be the opening track. Written by Kumaar, who of late has been collaborating with Pritam on quite a few songs, 'Pe..Pe..Pepein...' has exactly the same hook that was last evidenced in 'Oh By God' [Ajab Prem Ki Ajab Kahani]. Though the song hadn't featured in the film, Pritam was obviously attached to the hook (based on the quintessential 'shehnai' tune that is heard in marriages) and put it to good use in 'Pe..Pe..Pepein...'. The results are expectedly fabulous as the song turns out to be far better than 'Oh By God'. With Neeraj Sridhar, Hard Kaur and Saleem Shehzada bringing in the kind of attitude which is just suited for a song belonging to this genre, 'Pe..Pe..Pepein...' (which later also arrives in a much welcome 'remix version') turns out to be a true dance number which is not just a chartbuster from the word 'Go' but is also all set to get further popular once it's music video is out.

From here on, Adnan Sami takes over and the first in line is 'Pump It Up'. An out and out rock track, it begins quite well, courtesy the way it is arranged with a wide range of musical instruments being put to use. However, even though the base tune, hook and the rhythm is fine, the rendition doesn't make you jump with joy. In one of the rare scenarios, singer Vishal Dadlani isn't as impressive as he has been off late (most notably 'Dhan Te Nan'). Though he attempts bringing in the right kind of energy and puts on his rock star hat, the final results are just about ok with a lot depending upon the way the song (also heard in 'remix version') turns out on screen.

However, Adnan Sami is in complete form when he gets all mushy and melodic with 'Pal Mein Hi'. Bringing in of Soham and Shreya Ghoshal behind the mikes is a masterstroke too, as the two singers really get the romance bang on. In a film which has dance as it's central theme, there may not really have been much scope for a 'pyaar-mohabbat' saga but 'Pal Mein Hi' completely justifies it's inclusion in the album. The song doesn't just begin well but reaches its peak whenever the phrase '... tere aa jaane se' makes an appearance. Play it on!

It's back to dance with 'One More Dance'. Boasting of some good techno razzmatazz, this Kunal Ganjawala track has some very good beginning that completely transports a listener to the dance floor. Though the presentation is completely new and contemporary, there is this early 80s shade to it in the way Kunal goes about rendering the track. In fact it is surprising that the song doesn't appear in a 'remix version' because it had enough elements in it to be further spiced up. This isn't the kind of song to be hummed around but should do well on screen and the dance floor.

Kunal Ganjawala takes the dance flavour further with high pitched 'Yaba Daba Yahoo' which is yet another track that should look good on screen. A fun dance number made for the party scene; it belongs to the kind that instantly makes one shake a leg or two. The way word 'yahoo' is interspersed in the song, one is instantly reminded of the time when the film was rumoured to be titled as Yahoo.

It's back to some mush and romance with 'Rishta Hai Mera' which has Shaan and Tulsi Kumar pairing up behind the mike. The song pretty much picks up from where 'Pal Mein Hi' left and carries on the romantic mood while staying within the contemporary parameters of Chance Pe Dance. A fun song that also hints of a celebration in the offing, 'Rishta Hai... ' also sees Tulsi Kumar singing in a new voice, primarily in the 'mukhda'.

Last to come is 'Just Do It', which after 'Pe..Pe..Pepein...' and 'Pal Mein Hi', impresses most. A rap track by Url which has some really funny lyrics boasting of real life vocabulary, courtesy Amitabh Bhattacharya, 'Just Do It' is made for the situation where Shahid tries teaching a few dance steps to a bunch of kids. Other than 'Pe..Pe..Pepein...' this is yet another song which doesn't have Adnan Sami as the composer. Instead, director Ken Ghosh himself makes the song along with Sandeep Shirodkar and comes up with very good results. In fact one wonders why the makers didn't opt to have a longer duration instead of just two minutes that the song plays!

OVERALL

Chance Pe Dance is a good album that doesn't have a single bad/below average song and stays consistent for most of its duration. It does experiment with a song or two but doesn't veer away from giving all segments of listeners something to cheer about it. This is why other than a couple of fabulous dance numbers (Pe..Pe..Pepein..., Just Do It), there are also love songs (Pal Mein Hi, Rishta Hai Mera) that keep the balance on. Listen to this one, you won't be disappointed.

EXPECTATIONS

Given the subject and the genre of Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year, one isn't quite prepared for what's in store in this Salim-Sulaiman composed album. Of course one is quite sure that it would be situational tracks in the offering. Still, since there has been virtually no promotion of either the film or the music, it's a case of entering into a dark zone. What further surprises is the fact that there are only 3 tracks (all penned by Jaideep Sahni, who has also written the film) in the album.

MUSIC

'Pocket Me Rocket' - Now that's one real interesting way to come up with a song's title. Benny Dayal sings this track which follows Salim-Sulaiman's sensibilities to the T, if one recollects the kind of funky background score they have given to quite a few albums. With a mix of English and Hindi lyrics, the song tells the story of a salesman who has his task cut out to fetch excellent sales figures for himself. Expect the track to play at number of junctures in the narrative and also make an impression. Though audio wise it isn't the kind of track that you would end up singing in entirety, it's the hook that stays on with you for hours at stretch.

Vishal Dadlani, who is expected to be much in demand as a singer after his 'Dhan Ta Nan' [Kaminey] effort, is back with 'Gadbadi Hadbadi'. This one comes with loads of attitude in its opening portions and stays on to be a high energy affair throughout its duration. A rock track which is yet again situational, given the kind of setting Rocket Singh… boasts of, it would have gone a farther distance had it appeared in a more mainstream affair. Since it adds on the rock genre which has been in vogue since Rock On, it deserved a better outing than the case here where it hasn't been promoted at all.

Real surprise though is reserved for the end where Salim Merchant picks up one of the better tunes composed by him along with Sulaiman and goes solo with 'Pankhon Ko'. A soft track with mainly guitar playing in the background, 'Pankhon Ko' is a poetic outing for Jaideep Sahni who gets into the Prasoon Joshi territory. Extremely soothing to ears and reminding of 'Kya Karoon' from Wake Up Sid, 'Pankhon Ko' makes for a nice and sweet bonfire track that can be played on in a repeat mode.

OVERALL

Rocket Singh... is a nice album which has been surprisingly not promoted at all. Worse, the songs have been made available just days before the release of the film. Though the marketing team of Yash Raj Films may have their own good reasons to do that, the fact remains that for a movie starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead; it truly leaves one perplexed about this decision. This is why in spite of some decent to good tracks, Rocket Singh... will hardly fetch any sales figures for itself. Ironical, because the lead protagonist of the film is being touted to be the 'salesman of the year'!
